A Story of Death and Life

The myth of Osiris is the central story of Egyptian mythology. He was a just king who was murdered out of envy by his brother Seth. Thanks to the magic of his wife Isis, however, he was resurrected and became the ruler of the Duat (underworld), where he judged the souls of the deceased.
