Detailed Craftsmanship
The dominant feature of the saber is its brass, richly decorated guard with three bars, which reliably protects the hand. The grip is wrapped in black leather and reinforced with twisted brass wire, ensuring not only an authentic look but also a firm and secure hold. The slightly curved blade is made of 1045 high carbon steel and features a typical fuller (blood groove) along its length.

History and Care
The M1860 saber was the standard weapon of the US Cavalry from 1859 until the end of the Indian Wars. Despite its status, it earned the nickname "Old Wristbreaker" among soldiers due to its weight and balance during prolonged drilling.
