Muela Bison Hunting Knife – Olive Wood – MoVa Steel
Masterful Olive Wood Handle
At first glance, the handle will catch your eye. The scales are made of select Spanish olive wood. This wood is known for its high hardness, oiliness, and above all, its beautiful, unique grain, which makes every piece an original. The wood feels warm and pleasant to the touch. The knife is built on a Full-Tang construction (the blade runs through the entire length of the handle), giving it maximum strength. The scales are attached with two brass rivets, and there is a hollow brass rivet at the back for a lanyard.
Blade Designed for Precision
The blade features a Drop Point shape with a pronounced belly, making it destined for hunting use (skinner). It is made of high-quality stainless Molybdenum-Vanadium (MoVa) steel, hardened to approximately 56-58 HRC. This steel holds an edge excellently but is also easy to sharpen in the field. On the spine of the blade, you will find fine jimping (grooves) where you can safely rest your thumb for maximum control during detailed work.
The knife comes with a precisely stitched brown leather sheath featuring the Muela logo, which securely holds the knife on your belt with a snap-button strap.

Care and Maintenance
While olive wood is durable, it deserves your care. Clean and dry the knife after use. Occasionally wipe the wooden scales with olive or linseed oil – this will highlight the wood grain and protect it from drying out. Never wash the knife in a dishwasher; high temperatures and chemicals would destroy both the wood and the edge.
Safety Warning
The knife is delivered sharp and is intended for cutting. It is not a pry bar. Exercise caution when working, especially if your hands are wet.
