The drinking horn carrier for mead or some other delicious drink is made of 2.5mm thick smooth cowhide. The specimen on which the carrier was modelled dates back to the 9th century and comes from the Orkney Islands that were then under the rule of the brave Vikings. And it is the Viking symbol that is embossed in the leather on the front part. A part of the embossed ornament is in black colour. When ordering this product we recommend a natural colour to you since it highlights the embossed motif the best.
