Maintenance and Safety Advice

We recommend writing or drawing on the pages with pencils, ballpoint pens, coloured pencils, charcoal, or oil paints. However, strictly avoid using classic fountain pen ink or watercolours – due to the high absorbency of the handmade paper, the colours may bleed and soak through to the other side.

Do not expose the journal to open flames or extreme temperatures, as the leather may become brittle and crack. The inset stones are glued; handle the cover with care to avoid mechanical damage.
