The main idea is to achieve maximum weight savings while maintaining the full structural strength of the steel core. Weighing in at a mere 130 grams, this knife will not hinder your movements in the slightest. The firm synthetic cord absorbs sweat, prevents slipping in the hand, and, in a survival scenario, can be unwound and used to build a shelter, construct a bow drill for fire starting, or serve as an emergency lashing material. The steel crossguard, which is an integral part of the knife body, safely stops your fingers from sliding forward onto the sharp edge.

Maintenance of the Stainless Blade and Sheath

The knife is crafted from proven 420 stainless steel, a material that requires very little maintenance and resists moisture exceptionally well. The matte black finish adds an extra layer of protection to the steel. After standard use in the great outdoors, simply wash the blade with water and wipe it completely dry. If the synthetic cord wrap or the included sheath becomes soiled with mud or blood, they can easily be washed in lukewarm soapy water and left to air dry naturally. Before storing the knife in your backpack or cupboard for an extended period, we advise lightly wiping the blade with a cloth moistened with gun oil. This simple step ensures your tool will remain in perfect condition for many years to come.

This knife is supplied from the factory with a very sharp blade. The end of the handle features a practical safety strap (lanyard) to secure the knife to your wrist. Please bear in mind that this is strictly a lightweight working and bushcraft tool. For safety reasons, this knife is absolutely not intended for contact fencing, martial arts, or self-defence. Due to its lightness, it is not ideal for heavy wood chopping, but it truly excels at slicing, carving, and food preparation. Always ensure you cut away from your body and fingers. We strongly recommend always storing the knife in the provided durable synthetic sheath (featuring smart blue stitching) when carrying it.
