The handle is masterfully crafted from stabilised wood in rich green-brown hues. The stabilisation process ensures the wood is highly resistant to moisture, mechanical damage, and extreme temperature fluctuations. An elegant brass bolster protects the transition between the blade and the handle while preventing your fingers from slipping onto the cutting edge. Additionally, a practical brass lanyard hole is incorporated into the end of the handle.

Proper Care for Your Knife and Leather Sheath

To ensure your knife serves you in perfect condition for many years, it requires some basic maintenance. After every use in the great outdoors, clean the blade of any debris and wipe it completely dry. Although it is made of stainless steel, applying a light film of gun oil or specialized blade oil before long-term storage will significantly extend its lifespan. The high-quality leather sheath, crafted from dark brown hide and detailed with yellow stitching and an embossed Muela logo, deserves regular treatment with a beeswax-based leather balm to keep it supple and protected from dampness. To maintain the blade's edge, we recommend acquiring a quality diamond or ceramic whetstone.

This knife comes from the factory with an extremely sharp blade. It is designed purely as a working and hunting tool and is absolutely not intended for combat, martial arts sparring, or self-defence. Always cut away from your body and fingers. The knife is not designed for prying, chopping heavy logs (batoning), or throwing, as these actions could lead to a chipped edge or a shattered handle. When carrying the knife on your belt, always ensure it is securely seated deep within the provided leather sheath to prevent accidental injury while navigating difficult terrain.
