Extreme Durability for Extreme Speed
The R500 series changed the game, and these arrows are designed to handle that power. Constructed from 100% pure carbon, they offer the necessary stiffness and resilience. A critical feature is the threaded brass insert (High-Impact Brass Insert), which not only increases the durability of the front end upon impact but also shifts the centre of gravity forward (F.O.C.), stabilising flight even at extreme velocities.
At the rear of the arrow, you will find high-impact aluminium nock bushings. These protect the carbon shaft from damage by the string during the shot, when crushing G-forces are applied. The arrows are fitted with Ravin-engineered polymer clip-on nocks, which audibly snap onto the bowstring. This secure connection is vital for the safety of the Trac-Trigger™ system and the anti-dry fire mechanism.
Usage and Application
These arrows are designed exclusively for Ravin R500 Series crossbows. Never use them in other crossbow models, and conversely, do not use other arrows in your R500. They have been developed for hunting and precise long-range target shooting. Thanks to the 2” high-profile offset vanes, they rotate immediately upon release, ensuring a flat and stable trajectory.
Please Note: Field tips are not included. The arrows are weight-calibrated so that with a screwed-in 100-grain tip (field or broadhead), they achieve a total weight of 400 grains.

Care Instructions and Safety
To ensure your arrows last and your shooting remains safe:
- Flex Test: Before every shot, slightly flex the arrow and listen for any cracking sounds. If you hear any, the carbon is compromised – discard the arrow immediately.
- Nock Check: Regularly inspect the polymer nocks for cracks or deformation. A damaged nock can lead to a dry fire and destroy your crossbow.
- Target Selection: Only use targets rated for crossbow speeds over 500 FPS. Standard archery targets will not stop this arrow, leading to buried vanes and difficult extraction.
- What to Avoid: Never shoot at hard objects (rocks, trees, walls).
