Construction Built for 500 FPS+ Speed
The foundation of the arrow is a 100% pure carbon shaft, providing the necessary stiffness and resilience. To ensure stable flight even at extreme velocities, the arrows are equipped with high-impact brass threaded inserts. These shift the centre of gravity forward (High F.O.C.), which is key for long-range accuracy and penetration when hunting.
The rear of the arrow is protected by high-impact aluminium nock bushings, which prevent the carbon shaft from splitting upon release. The arrows are fitted with specific Ravin Polymer Clip-On nocks in orange. These must audibly snap onto the bowstring, which is essential for the proper function of the trigger mechanism and the anti-dry fire system on the R500.
Important Usage Warning
These arrows are compatible EXCLUSIVELY with Ravin R500 Series crossbows. Due to the unique nock system and the extreme performance of the crossbow, you must never use them in any other model, and conversely, never load other arrows into your R500. The 2” offset vanes (orange/white combination) ensure immediate arrow rotation after leaving the rail, stabilizing the trajectory.
Please Note: Field tips are not included. The arrows are weight-calibrated to a total of 400 grains when using a 100-grain tip.

Care Instructions and Safety
To ensure your arrows last and your shooting remains safe:
- Flex Test: Before every load, slightly flex the arrow. If you hear any cracking, the carbon structure is compromised. Discard such an arrow immediately, as it could shatter upon release.
- Nock Check: Ensure the orange nocks are not cracked or deformed.
- Proper Target: Shoot only into targets certified for speeds over 500 FPS. Standard targets will not stop the arrow, leading to vane damage or arrow loss.
- What to Avoid: Never shoot at walls, trees, or rocks.
