Care for Leather and Paper

A Note on the Paper: The unique parchment-style paper has a specific texture and high absorbency. It is not suitable for fountain pens with liquid ink or for watercolour painting, as the ink could bleed and feather significantly. It is ideal for use with a pencil, ballpoint pen, crayons, charcoal, or calligraphy pens with thicker, pigment-based ink.

You can treat the leather from time to time with a leather care product (conditioner or wax) to keep it supple and protected. Keep the journal away from extreme heat (e.g., near a radiator) to prevent the leather from hardening and cracking.
