Steampunk Design with a Message
The cover of this journal is crafted from high-quality, genuine buffalo leather, which has been vegetable-tanned. The colour is a very dark brown-to-black, which makes the embossing stand out beautifully. The embossing is done in such a way that the motifs emerge in an antique bronze patina, creating a perfect "worn" vintage look.
The entire front cover is dominated by the quote "Every Story has an End, but in Life Every End is just a new Beginning". Below it is a detailed image of a steam locomotive in a typical steampunk style. The journal closes not with a clasp, but with a simple and practical leather strap that wraps around the journal and tucks into a loop. The spine is adorned with a prominent cross-stitch binding in black thread.
Paper from an Old Workshop
What makes this journal truly massive (it's 5 cm thick!) is its paper. Inside, you'll find 100 leaves (200 pages) of handmade paper, which has been intentionally crafted with a deep, yellow patina. The paper is unlined, has a very rough, fibrous texture, and uneven, deckled edges. Each page is an original and looks like centuries-old parchment.
Who is this Journal For?
Thanks to its unique appearance, this journal is perfect as a:

- Travel journal – the train motif is a perfect invitation.
- Motivational diary for chronicling a new beginning, project, or phase of life.
- Sketchbook for dry media (pencil, charcoal, crayons).

Important Notice and Care
Paper Warning: This handmade paper is rough and absorbent. It is unlined and ideal for ballpoint pens, pencils, or crayons. We do not recommend using fountain pens or watercolours, as they will bleed and feather heavily on this paper.
Leather Care: Protect the journal from water. If it gets damp, let it air-dry slowly at room temperature. For maintenance, you can very sparingly treat the leather with a conditioner (e.g., beeswax-based), but be aware that any oil-based product will alter (darken) the patina's character.
