This type of simple cloak, often referred to as a sagum, was a fundamental part of a Roman soldier's kit. This red wool cape is an ideal choice for:

Caring for Your Wool Garment

- Never wring the cape out; only gently squeeze the water out.
- Do not tumble dry! The wool will shrink. Dry flat, for example, on a towel, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Iron only on a low setting (wool setting) and preferably through a damp cloth.
- Do not use bleach or standard detergents, as these can damage the wool fibres.
