In Norse mythology, this offspring of the god Loki is so colossal that he encircles the entire world of mortals (Midgard), biting his own tail. The circular form of the pendant therefore symbolises not only Jörmungandr himself but also the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth—a core concept in the Viking worldview. A Piece of History: Cast from Fire and Wax

Each pendant is individually made using the lost-wax casting process, a method that dates back thousands of years. An artisan first carves the intricate design in wax, encases it in a clay mould, and then heats it to melt the wax away. Molten bronze is then poured into the resulting cavity. Once cooled, the mould is broken, revealing the detailed metal casting within. This historic process ensures that each piece is slightly different and truly one of a kind.
