The Pinnacle of Gothic Coinage
This replica perfectly captures the aesthetics of the 14th century. It is struck from aluminium using classic medieval technology with hand-engraved dies, which guarantees not only its light weight and durability but, above all, a high level of detail and historical fidelity. - Obverse (Front): The centre is dominated by an elaborate Gothic royal crown. The inner inscription states the sovereign's name: KAROLUS PRIMUS (Charles the First). The outer inscription bears the title: DEI GRATIA REX BOEMIE (By the Grace of God, King of Bohemia).
- Reverse (Back): Depicts the majestic Bohemian lion and the inscription GROSSI PRAGENSES (Prague Groschen).
An interesting fact is that although he reigned as Charles IV, he is listed on the coins as Charles the First. This is because he was the first king of that name on the Bohemian throne.
