Material and design:

• Leather: The notebook is made of genuine buffalo leather in brown colour, which has been tanned with natural, vegetable tanning agents. This makes the leather not only beautiful to look at and pleasant to touch, but also environmentally friendly.
• Front: The surface of the leather is decorated with an embossed pattern. The front is dominated by a circular motif with an embedded green stone, which is surrounded by an interwoven leather edge. The edges of the notebook are decorated with a geometric pattern.
• Back: The back of the notebook continues the design style of the front, but is simpler. It features the same geometric pattern on the edges that is associated with the front, and the centre section is filled with regularly repeating embossed patterns. These patterns give the notebook structure and an interesting visual element, also on the back.
• Closure. The strap runs through a loop and is fastened with two rivets. This type of fastening is not only secure, but also gives the notebook a touch of antiquity.
• Paper. The paper is thick enough to write on both sides with pencil, biros or coloured pencils. Writing with pencil or watercolours could disintegrate.
• Binding. It is made in such a way that the pages are firmly bound, but at the same time allow easy opening and writing on the whole page. The edges of the paper are torn by hand and intentionally not aligned, giving the notebook a rustic look.
