The cloak is made from a cotton chambray fabric with a weight of 200 gsm. This is not ordinary canvas. Chambray is characterized by a specific weaving technique where the vertical (warp) threads are coloured and the horizontal (weft) threads are white. This creates a subtly mottled texture that appears natural, period-appropriate, and less flat than regular dyed fabric. • Drying: Do not tumble dry under any circumstances! Air dry by hanging, ideally in the shade, to preserve colour saturation.
• Ironing: Iron on a low setting, preferably from the reverse side.
