Using this tool is highly intuitive with the proper training. Simply loop the cord over your middle and ring fingers so that the plastic body of the weapon rests firmly in your palm. The deep transverse grooving prevents slipping even in a sweaty hand. When striking, the energy is concentrated into the small area of the rounded tips, causing massive pain when hitting the attacker's muscle knots or pressure points. The tool is completely maintenance-free; simply wash it occasionally with water and check the integrity of the nylon cord. Thanks to its hard plastic construction, it can also be used in emergency situations (e.g., car accidents) as an improvised glass breaker for vehicle side windows.

Crucial Safety and Legal Warning

Although this tool looks like a simple piece of plastic, it is a highly effective defensive weapon! It is definitely not a toy and is not intended for LARP battle games or training sparring without appropriate protective gear. In real self-defense scenarios, aim strikes at large muscle groups (thighs, shoulders, biceps). Completely avoid striking the head, neck, and spine, where using a Kubotan could lead to fatal and permanent injuries with serious criminal consequences. Also, remember that in some countries (e.g., the United Kingdom) the carrying of such defensive tools is strictly regulated or entirely banned, so always check local legislation before travelling abroad.
