Hand-Forged for Authenticity
This knife is no cheap trinket. It is hand-forged from mild steel and tempered for strength and durability. The curled ring handle (a "ring knife") is based on the minimalist and elegant design of early medieval tools. Each piece is an original with a unique rustic texture.
Stylish and Functional Sheath
The knife is housed in a sheath made of genuine leather, which is hand-dyed and stitched. The shield shape and the striking brass emblem (a lion or a rose, depending on the variant) make it not just a functional sheath, but a piece of jewellery. Using the included leather cord (approx. 90 cm long), the knife is worn suspended around the neck, where it is immediately to hand.
Use and Safety
This Celtic knife is ideal for historical camping (cutting food, slicing cordage) or as part of a Viking, Celtic, or medieval merchant costume.
Important Notice: The knife is supplied from the factory with a blunt edge for safe use at public events (LARP, re-enactment). However, the blade can be sharpened. Once sharpened, the knife becomes a fully functional and sharp tool – handle it with all due care, it is not a toy! Keep it out of reach of children.

Care for Your Mild Steel Knife
The knife is lightly oiled from the factory to protect against corrosion. To ensure it serves you well for a long time, follow these instructions:
- Thoroughly dry the knife (especially the blade) after each use.
- Regularly wipe the blade with a light coat of mineral oil (e.g., WD-40, Ballistol) to prevent rust. Mild steel is not stainless!
- Do not leave the knife or sheath unnecessarily wet or in damp conditions.
- NEVER wash the knife in a dishwasher! Clean it by hand only and dry it immediately.
