Authentic Design and Craftsmanship
This leather pouch is crafted with attention to detail. It is made from high-quality pebbled leather that is supple yet robust. The flap is adorned with a deep and clean embossing of the Aegishjalmur symbol. Furthermore, the edges of the flap are highlighted with decorative hand-stitching, which increases durability and enhances the authentic look. The closure is a traditional and reliable toggle made from genuine ox horn, which slips through a leather loop. On the back, two sturdy, riveted loops will hold the pouch securely on belts up to 6.5 cm (2.5 in) wide.
Why Wear the Helm of Awe?
The symbol embossed on the flap is the Aegishjalmur (pronounced "EYE-gish-hiowl-mur"), or the "Helm of Awe and Terror". Caring for Your Leather Pouch
Leather is a natural material that will last for years with proper care and will develop a beautiful patina. Protect the pouch from prolonged soaking. If it gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally (never on a heater!). To maintain its suppleness and appearance, treat it from time to time with a leather balm or beeswax.
