A Colourful Parade of Knightly Might

Each figurine is made of polyresin and hand-painted. The horses are adorned with caparisons (cloth coverings) that match the riders' surcoats.

• White Knights (2 pcs): Representing the classic Templars. Both rider and horse are in white with a red cross. One is attacking with a sword, the other holds a spear.
• Red Knights (2 pcs): Representing late Hospitallers. The deep red colour with a white cross on both rider and horse looks very aggressive and distinct on the battlefield.
• Black Knights (2 pcs): The dark variant (early Hospitallers or Teutonic Knights). Black armour and a caparison with a white cross give the riders a menacing appearance.

Historical and Gaming Use

Heavy cavalry was the "tank" of the Middle Ages. A knight on horseback possessed immense striking power. The colour distinction in this set perfectly reflects the historical reality of the Crusades, where different orders (Templars, Hospitallers, and others) fought side by side. With a length of approx. 7.5 cm and a height of 8.5 cm, these are compact figurines that fit on the hex grid of most board games or create an impressive formation on a shelf.

Caring for the Cavalry

The figurines are dynamic, which means more fragile parts:

• Fragility: Watch out for the horses' legs and weapons (spears, swords). Polyresin is hard, but these thin parts can snap if dropped.
• Cleaning: Remove dust with a fine brush. Do not use water to avoid damaging the paint on the caparisons and shields.
