Natural cowhide leather should never be allowed to dry out completely. After every demanding event, especially if the belt gets damp from sweat or rain, let it dry naturally at room temperature. Never place it directly on a radiator or dry it with a hairdryer, as the leather would irreversibly crack. For regular maintenance, use a high-quality leather balm containing beeswax or special saddle soap. This will significantly increase the water resistance of the material and maintain its suppleness.
