The design of this approx. 180cm long, 3cm wide sling is based on an original piece found on a 3band Springfield rifled musket used during the U.S. Civil War (18611865). Handcrafted from sturdy genuine leather, it features several prepunched holes for proper adjustment and a single brass hook secured by two copper rivets and sturdy stitching. Just like the original, it is marked Watervliet Arsenal.
