Care and Maintenance Instructions

The leather is factory-treated with a basic beeswax balm. To keep the sandals soft, prevent cracking, and ensure they withstand the elements well, please follow these guidelines:

• Regularly treat the leather with a colourless beeswax balm or dedicated leather oil. This softens the hide beautifully and provides mild water resistance. The material will naturally darken slightly after application.
• Should the sandals get wet (e.g. during a summer shower), let them dry very slowly at normal room temperature. Never place them on a hot radiator, near an open fire, or leave them in blazing midday sunlight – the leather would irreversibly shrink, harden, and crack.
• If soiled with mud or dust, simply wipe the footwear with a slightly dampened cloth. Never wash the sandals in a washing machine and avoid using aggressive chemical detergents.
