From the Middle Ages and the early modern period, craftsmen, hunters, and ordinary travellers hung leather pouches and scabbards from their belts to keep their most essential gear always at hand and protected from loss. This belt sheath seamlessly continues this centuries-old tradition. How to Properly Care for Your Leather Sheath
The pouch is crafted from high-quality cowhide leather. Because it is a natural material, it requires at least basic regular care. To prevent the leather from cracking over time and to maintain its natural flexibility and partial water resistance, we recommend treating it at least twice a year with a premium leather balm containing beeswax. Avoid drying a damp pouch on a direct heat source, such as a radiator, or near an open flame – the leather could dry out and irreversibly harden. If the sheath gets wet, allow it to dry naturally at normal room temperature.
