History and the Phenomenon of Neck Knives

Knives designed to be worn around the neck have deep roots in history, having been used by indigenous peoples and pioneers for their concealability and quick accessibility. Today, this concept has returned to the spotlight thanks to the EDC (Everyday Carry) phenomenon. In terms of design, this specific model is inspired by classic combat daggers featuring a double-sided crossguard, which were popular among soldiers, but it translates this proven shape into a highly compact and modern package.

Materials and Detailed Construction

The spear-point blade of this dagger reaches a blade length of 50 mm (approx. 1.97 in) and is precisely made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. This steel is characterised by an excellent balance between edge retention, ease of sharpening, and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, a weight-reducing fuller (blood groove) runs down the centre of the blade. The handle material consists of rubberized plastic with a pronounced texturing that ensures the knife will not slip even from a sweaty palm. At the end of the handle, there is a practical hole for threading a paracord safety lanyard. Safe carrying is ensured by a custom-moulded sheath, which is made of durable plastic and firmly secures the knife against accidentally falling out.

Safety Warnings for the User

Strong Warning: Although the knife has very compact dimensions with a total length of only 125 mm (approx. 4.92 in), it features a sharp blade. The weapon is under no circumstances suitable for contact stage combat, martial arts training, or cutting tests. This is a real cutting tool. Careless handling or drawing could result in severe injury to yourself. Always handle the knife with maximum responsibility and store it safely out of the reach of small children.

Knife Maintenance and Recommended Accessories

Thanks to the use of high-quality stainless steel and the protective blackening, maintaining this knife is very easy. To keep it in flawless condition, we recommend gently wiping the blade with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Occasionally wiping the blade with a single drop of high-quality gun oil will help protect the material in the long term. We highly recommend purchasing a small ceramic or diamond pocket sharpener to go with this knife, thanks to which you will easily maintain an aggressive edge even in the field.
