The word Jabalí translates to wild boar in Spanish, which clearly points to the original hunting purpose of this imposing tool. Fixed-blade knives featuring a full-tang construction (where the steel blade runs the full width and thickness through the entire length of the handle) have evolved in the history of woodcraft and hunting as an absolute necessity for survival. The drop point blade shape, with its slightly sloping spine, is ideal for precise cutting, skinning, and rougher activities like chopping branches to build a makeshift shelter.

Construction and Premium Materials

The heart of this knife is a 170 mm (approx. 6.69 in) long blade made of premium X50CrMoV15 stainless molybdenum-vanadium steel. This modern alloy excels in great edge retention, extraordinary toughness, and high resistance to corrosion. The ergonomic handle consists of scales made of Canvas Micarta in an elegant mustard shade. This composite of layered canvas and hardened resin is practically indestructible, non-absorbent, and does not slip even in a wet or sweaty palm. The knife is supplied in a sturdy genuine cowhide leather sheath, equipped with a solid belt loop and a securing strap with a snap fastener.

Principles of Safe Use

Strong Warning: This tool is supplied from the factory with a very sharp blade. It is purely a working, hunting, and bushcraft knife. The weapon is under no circumstances intended for historical fencing, martial arts (HEMA), LARP battles, or contact combat practice. When forcefully cutting wood or other solid materials, always direct the motion of the edge away from your body to prevent the blade from dangerously slipping. Immediately after use, safely return the knife to its leather sheath and store it in a secure place completely out of the reach of children.

Knife Care and Recommended Accessories

Although the X50CrMoV15 steel used is highly resistant to rust, to maintain the perfect condition of the knife, we strongly recommend thoroughly cleaning the blade of food residues, mud, or aggressive tree sap after every use in nature and wiping it completely dry. An occasional light wipe of the steel blade with a high-quality gun oil will significantly prolong its lifespan. Do not let the leather sheath dry out in direct sunlight or near a radiator, and treat it regularly with beeswax or leather balm. To keep the razor edge in perfect condition, we highly recommend purchasing a high-quality ceramic or diamond sharpening stone to go with this knife.
