Usage and Maintenance
This knife excels as a skinner, a versatile hunting tool, or a robust EDC fixie for daily carry. The included leather sheath features a belt loop for easy carry in the field. To keep your Muela knife in top condition, clean and dry the blade thoroughly after each use. While Nitro-42 is highly rust-resistant, an occasional wipe with mineral oil will maintain its factory-fresh appearance. We recommend treating the leather sheath with leather balm once in a while to prevent it from drying out or cracking.

Nitro-42 steel is specially formulated to provide a fine grain structure. This means the blade can take a much keener edge compared to standard stainless steels, making it easier to resharpen to a razor-like finish even after heavy use in the forest.
Precautions to Follow
Do not use this knife for prying. While extremely tough, the blade geometry is optimized for cutting; lateral force can snap the tip or damage the edge. Never put your knife in a dishwasher, as high heat and harsh detergents will damage both the steel's temper and the Micarta handle scales.
Recommended Accessories
