How to Care for Your Horn Tumblers
To ensure your new horn tumblers bring you joy for as long as possible, please give them the proper care. This is a natural product that is sensitive to extreme conditions.
What to Do:
- ✅ Rinse the tumblers under lukewarm running water before first use.
- ✅ Hand wash only after each use, ideally with lukewarm water and a mild soap.
- ✅ Dry them carefully and thoroughly immediately after washing.
- ✅ To extend their life and restore their shine, you can rub the outside with beeswax from time to time.
What to Avoid:
- ❌ NEVER wash them in a dishwasher. The hot water and chemicals will permanently destroy them.
- ❌ Do not fill them with hot beverages (coffee, tea, mulled wine). High temperatures can cause cracks.
- ❌ Do not use them for liquids with an alcohol content higher than 20%.
- ❌ Do not let drinks sit in them for extended periods, and do not let them soak in water.
- ❌ Do not expose them to direct sunlight or other heat sources (radiators, microwaves).
