Horn is a natural material and requires proper care to ensure your tumblers last as long as possible. Please follow these instructions:

What to Do:

• Before first use, wash by hand in lukewarm water with a little soap.
• Use for cool or lukewarm drinks (beer, wine, mead, water, spirits).
• Suitable for beverages with an alcohol content of up to 20%.
• For a longer life, you can occasionally treat the inside with beeswax after it has dried completely.

What NOT to Do:

• NEVER wash in a dishwasher. The hot water and harsh detergents will permanently damage them.
• NEVER use in a microwave oven.
• NEVER pour hot drinks into them (coffee, tea, mulled wine). High temperatures can cause the horn to crack.
• Do not leave liquids in them for more than a few hours. They are not intended for storing drinks.
