Installation
Installation is very straightforward. The knocker attaches with two screws through the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate. Fasteners (screws) are not included in the delivery. Be sure to select screws appropriate for the material and thickness of your door or gate.
Caring for the Knocker
The product is treated from the factory with a protective layer of preservative oil to prevent corrosion during transport and storage. You can easily wipe this layer off with a dry cloth before installation. For long-term protection, especially in an outdoor environment, we recommend occasionally treating the surface with a suitable preservative oil or a wax for metal. Never use abrasive materials or harsh chemical cleaners, as they could damage the surface.
