Later, it became a highly popular backup and defensive weapon in the dark, narrow streets of Italian cities. Although the titanium-coated 420 steel blade is highly resistant to corrosion, we still recommend wiping it down with a damp cloth and drying it completely after use. The backlock mechanism and the pivot point should occasionally be lubricated with a single drop of high-quality gun oil for a smooth operation. The Pakkawood handle scales are highly resistant to moisture due to their resin impregnation during manufacturing, but an occasional application of light wood wax will do them good. Under no circumstances should this product be washed in a dishwasher, as aggressive chemicals would cause irreversible damage.
