Universal Design for Any Collection
Although the stand's design with its wavy arms is reminiscent of traditional Japanese sword stands (katana-kake), its sturdy construction and generous dimensions make it ideal for a wide range of weapons. Each of the three tiers is lined with soft black felt, which protects the surface of your prized items, whether it's the polished steel of a blade, the lacquer of a scabbard (saya), or the carved handle of an axe. The holder span of approximately 29 cm (11.4 in) is sufficient for most long weapons.
The stand is perfect for displaying:
- Japanese Swords: A traditional daishō set (katana and wakizashi) complemented by a tantō.
- European Swords: Ideal for a collection of arming swords, longswords, or rapiers.
