Compact Jungle Adventurer Hollow Handle Survival Knife
Design and Features
The Clip Point blade is made of 420 stainless steel. To prevent glare in the sun and provide a tactical appearance, it features a black coating. On the spine of the blade, you will find a saw back suitable for cutting rope or notching wood. The handle is made of light metal with knurling for a secure grip. Unscrewing the waterproof cap reveals the storage compartment. The knife comes with a practical black nylon sheath that protects both the edge and your gear.

Historical Context: The Hollow Handle Phenomenon
The concept of knives with hollow handles for storing equipment was popularized in the 1980s by movies featuring the veteran John Rambo. Although originally designed as survival gear for pilots (combining a knife and kit in one unit), the film series turned them into an outdoor icon. This "Jungle Adventurer" model is a scaled-down and lighter variation of these massive tools, adapted for general hiking use and smaller hands.
Maintenance and Care
420 steel is resistant to rust but requires regular sharpening to stay razor-sharp. Clean and dry the knife after use before returning it to the sheath. Pay attention to the thread on the handle cap—keep it clean so the compass can always be unscrewed easily. Because the handle is hollow, the knife is not designed for extreme prying or throwing. Use it for cutting and standard camp tasks.
