Style and Usage
Whilst large flasks are designed for sharing with friends, this 100 ml piece (approx. 3.5 fl oz, or 3–4 shots) is the ideal personal companion. It fits into a waistcoat pocket, a small belt pouch, or even a boot top. Historically, small travel flasks have been used to revive the spirit or warm the body since the 18th century, although this ribbed design refers more to the industrial aesthetics of the 20th century.
The cap is naturally equipped with a safety mechanism (captive top), so the screw lid remains hanging on the hinge after opening, ensuring you won't lose it even in the deepest forest.
Care and Maintenance
To ensure the flask serves you long and stays beautiful, follow these rules:
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water before the first sip.
- Hand wash only. Due to the faux leather wrap, the flask must not be put in the dishwasher; hot water and harsh chemicals could peel off or damage the cover.
- Do not leave alcohol inside for more than 3 days to prevent taste alteration.
- Wash after use and let it dry open.
- Do not use for acidic drinks (juices, citrus) or carbonated lemonades.
