A Bit of History
Pocket flasks experienced their greatest boom in the USA during Prohibition in the 1920s (the ban on alcohol began in 1920). Care and Maintenance
To ensure the flask serves you for many years, follow these principles:
- Suitable Content: Intended exclusively for pure spirits (whiskey, vodka, brandy, rum, gin).
- Unsuitable Content: Never fill it with carbonated drinks, acidic juices (e.g., citrus), or cream liqueurs. Acids and sugars could damage the inner surface or spoil inside.
- Cleaning: Wash by hand only in warm water, do not use aggressive detergents, and definitely do not put it in the dishwasher.
- Storage: Do not leave alcohol in it for more than 3 days to prevent it from acquiring a metallic taste. Let it dry open after washing.
