This rapier is battle ready in a way as it was in the history. The hardness of the blade is 48-52 Rockwell. They are not sharpened, this would be an extra service that we offer as well. However, there is a difference between stage combat swords and other edged weapons. The blades of battle ready weapons have rounded edges to and withstand more ore harder blows. Sharp weapons would get here wedges at blows, as it was earlier also normal. It is a full tang weapon.
