The playing surface itself is made of a high-pressure laminate board (Formica type). This material was deliberately chosen for its high resistance to scratches and its smooth surface, allowing pieces (especially those with felt bases) to glide beautifully. The colour scheme of the squares provides a classic contrast that does not strain the eyes and ensures clarity of the game situation.

• Storage: Keep the board dry and at room temperature. Extreme humidity or temperature fluctuations could cause the wooden frame to warp.
• Note: Chess pieces are not included in the delivery. Choose a set that is closest to your heart to go with it.
