Muela Colibri Hunting Knife – Olive Wood – MoVa Steel
Natural Beauty and Solid Construction
The foundation of the knife is a blade made of stainless Molybdenum-Vanadium (MoVa) steel, which is popular among users for its long-lasting edge retention and ease of sharpening. The knife is built as a Full-Tang, meaning the steel runs through the entire width and length of the handle. This solution guarantees that the knife will not break even when greater force is applied.
The handle consists of scales made of select olive wood. This is prized for its high hardness and beautiful, contrasting grain, making each piece an original. The scales are attached to the steel with two brass rivets and one hollow rivet at the end, which serves for a lanyard attachment. The ergonomic shape with a groove for the index finger ensures the knife fits safely and comfortably in the hand.
You will receive the knife with a high-quality dark brown leather sheath embossed with the Muela logo and featuring a practical snap-button closure that securely fixes the knife on the belt.

Care and Maintenance
To keep the knife bringing you joy for years, give it a little care after use. Always clean and dry the blade. Olive wood is oily and durable, but an occasional wipe with linseed or olive oil will highlight its grain and protect it from moisture. Treat the leather sheath with beeswax. Never wash the knife in a dishwasher!
Safety Warning
The knife is delivered very sharp. Although it is robust, do not use it as a pry bar or screwdriver, as there is a risk of damaging the tip.
