The Golden Falcon with the Disk of Life

The statue is made of high-quality synthetic resin (polyresin), which faithfully mimics the appearance of expensive materials but is more affordable. Ra is depicted here as a man with a falcon's head, referencing his merger with the god Horus (Ra-Horakhty). On his head, he bears the sun disk encircled by the sacred cobra (Uraeus), symbolising his power and protection against enemies. The figure is dressed in a traditional shendyt kilt, and his neck is adorned with a broad usekh collar. The entire statue is hand-painted in shades of gold and bronze and stands on a base decorated with reliefs resembling hieroglyphs.

Lord of Time and Creator of the World

God Ra (or Re) held a unique position in the Egyptian pantheon. He was considered the creator of the world and the ruler of time—governing the passing of days, months, and seasons. Every day, he sailed in his solar barque across the celestial ocean. His cult was so strong that from the 4th Dynasty onwards, Pharaohs adopted the title "Son of Ra" to legitimize their rule on earth.

Care Instructions

To ensure the Sun God retains his shine, we recommend the following maintenance:

• Placement: The statue is designed strictly for indoor use. Prolonged direct sunlight could cause colours to fade over time.
• Cleaning: Remove dust only with a soft, dry cloth or duster. Do not use water or chemical cleaners, as they could damage the hand-painted finish.
• Handling: Polyresin is strong but can shatter if dropped on a hard floor (e.g., tiles). Place the statue in a secure location.

For a perfect atmosphere, we recommend complementing the statue with stylish incense sticks or placing it alongside other gods from our collection, such as Anubis or Bastet.
