Symbolism of the Wolf and Craftsmanship
The wolf is revered in many cultures as a symbol of untamed freedom, intelligence, loyalty to the pack, and wild strength. In Norse mythology, the wolves Geri and Freki accompanied the god Odin; in Roman myths, a she-wolf suckled the city's founders, Romulus and Remus. Wearing the wolf paw symbol is thus an ancient tribute to this fascinating and noble creature. It is the sign of the wanderer, the hunter, and the protector.
This pendant is a quality product from the Czech manufacturer Mincovna Dukát. This is not a common casting, but genuine handiwork. The manufacturing process includes punching the disc from a brass sheet, careful hand-stamping of the motif from a specially prepared die, drilling the hole, and assembling it with a ring and the leather cord. Each piece is therefore an original that has passed through many hands.

Caring for Your Pendant
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc that naturally acquires a patina (darkens) over time. This is its characteristic feature, which adds to the pendant's authenticity and historical appearance. However, if you prefer a shiny golden look, you can occasionally polish the pendant with a metal polishing cloth or use common household remedies (e.g., a paste of lemon juice and salt, then rinse thoroughly and dry).
Do not expose the leather cord to unnecessary moisture, as it could harden and crack. Protect it from modern chemicals. Do not expose the brass medal itself to harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which could damage the stamped design.
