Symbolism of the Bear and Craftsmanship
The bear is revered in many cultures as a powerful and spiritual animal. It represents strength, courage, protection, but also introspection and healing. In Norse mythology, "berserker" warriors were known for their bear-like fury, and in Celtic tradition, the bear was a symbol of the warrior and protector. Wearing the bear paw symbol can thus be seen as embracing these qualities or as a talisman for protection and strength on your journeys.
Hand-made Quality and Use
This pendant is a quality product from the Czech manufacturer Mincovna Dukát. Each medal is hand-stamped into a brass blank, ensuring no two pieces are exactly identical. The process includes punching the disc, the actual stamping of the motif from a specially prepared die, drilling the hole, and assembling it with a ring and the leather cord.

Caring for Your Pendant
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc that naturally acquires a patina over time. This is its characteristic feature, which adds to the pendant's authenticity. However, if you prefer a shiny look, you can occasionally polish the pendant with a metal cleaning cloth or use common household remedies (e.g., a paste of lemon juice and salt, then rinse thoroughly and dry).
Do not soak the leather cord in water unnecessarily, as it could harden and crack. Protect it from chemicals. Do not expose the brass medal itself to harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which could damage the embossed design.
