Unmissable Nocks for Your Arrows
This set contains 10 identical plastic nocks, designed for reliability and excellent visibility.
- Colour: The vibrant, fluorescent yellow-green colour is perfectly visible in flight and after landing in the grass or target.
- Material: Made from a durable and slightly flexible plastic that resists impacts well and holds firmly to the bowstring.
- Push-in Design: The nocks are designed to be glued into the rear of the arrow shaft. The nock's slot ensures a firm and secure "click" onto the bowstring.
Compatibility and Proper Installation
These replacement nocks (manufacturer's part number MK-FA-NK) are designed for Man Kung fiberglass arrows with an outer diameter of 6.9 mm, specifically for the models:
- Man Kung 26-inch fiberglass bow arrow (Ø 6.9 mm)
- Man Kung 28-inch fiberglass bow arrow (Ø 6.9 mm)
- Man Kung 30-inch fiberglass bow arrow (Ø 6.9 mm)
Installation Requires Precision, Glue, and Correct Alignment
Replacing a nock is easy, but to maintain the arrow's accuracy, you must follow the correct procedure:
- Carefully remove the remains of the old, damaged nock and thoroughly clean the inside of the arrow shaft.
- Apply a small drop of special adhesive (we recommend fletching and nock glue) to the shank of the new nock.
- Insert the nock into the shaft and align it immediately.
- ALIGNMENT IS KEY: The nock's slot must be at a right angle (90°) to the cock vane (the vane that is usually a different colour and points upwards when nocking the arrow).
- Let the glue cure completely according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
Correct nock alignment is absolutely essential for accurate and safe shooting!
Safety and Inspection
Before every shot, visually inspect the nock to ensure it isn't cracked or otherwise damaged. A cracked nock can fail upon release, causing a "dry-fire" effect that can damage your bow. Also, check that the nock fits snugly on the bowstring – it should snap on with a gentle click.
