The simple cut is based on findings from the early and high Middle Ages.

Can be worn as outerwear or underwear. When worn as an undergarment, it protects the outer garment from sweat, which is why this simple tunic is also called a body shirt. The tunic is especially recommended as an undergarment with wool garments so that you don't feel the scratchy wool directly on your skin. In summer, a tunic is ideal as an airy outerwear.
