You can thread the pouch onto your belt vertically (the classic downward-pointing way), but also horizontally (transverse to the belt line). Horizontal carry is exceptionally practical if you sit often (for example, when driving a car) or if you do not want the pouch to unnecessarily protrude below the hem of your jacket. Furthermore, the nylon material used is practically maintenance-free. If it gets dirty from dust or soil, simply brush it out in lukewarm soapy water and let it air dry naturally at room temperature.

Crucial Safety Warning

Please always bear in mind that this pouch is intended exclusively for carrying folding knives and small tools in their fully closed state! Never attempt to insert a fixed-blade knife (e.g., a dagger) or a folding knife that you have forgotten to close. The sharp blade would easily pierce the soft nylon wall, irreversibly destroy the pouch, and could cause you very serious cutting or puncture injuries during normal movement.
