Elegant Tactical Fixed Blade Knife with Skeletonized G10 Handle

The History of Skeletonization and Modern Knifemaking

Tools and weapons with a fixed blade that seamlessly transitions into the handle (known as a full-tang construction) have accompanied humanity since the discovery of the first metals, as they represent the most robust solution possible. The interesting feature of this specific knife is the series of holes running through the center of the blade and handle. This process, called skeletonization, historically appeared on certain Renaissance daggers and hunting hangers. The original purpose was to reduce the weight of the weapon while maintaining its strength and structural integrity. Today, this element is used in modern tactical and EDC knives not only to save weight but also to achieve an aggressive, industrial look. The two-tone finish, where the lower bevel of the blade is black-coated, adds a distinctly modern military vibe to the knife.

Proper Use and Maintenance Tips

The knife comes in a sturdy nylon sheath with a belt loop, allowing you to easily attach it to your belt or tactical vest. A velcro strap securely holds the knife in the sheath. The ergonomics of the handle are perfected by a deep finger groove for the index finger and jimping on the spine of the blade. You can comfortably rest your thumb against this jimping to gain maximum control over your cuts. The 440 stainless steel blade offers excellent corrosion resistance and is easy to sharpen. To ensure a long lifespan, we recommend washing and carefully drying the knife after use in damp conditions or after cutting food, and occasionally applying a light coat of oil to the steel parts to prevent surface spotting. At the pommel of the handle, you will also find a lanyard hole for attaching a paracord safety line.

Crucial Safety Warning

Always bear in mind that this product features a fully functional and razor-sharp blade! This is not a toy, a decorative piece, or a blunt prop for LARP, historical fencing, or person-to-person sparring. The knife is designed exclusively as a serious utility, hunting, and outdoor tool. Exercise extreme caution when handling and drawing the knife from its sheath to prevent severe cutting injuries.

Recommended Accessories

For easy maintenance of the plain edge in the field or at home, we recommend purchasing a high-quality pocket diamond or ceramic sharpener, ensuring your knife remains perfectly sharp at all times.
