How to Sound the Horn Correctly
Getting a tone from the horn takes a bit of practice. It's not just about blowing; it's about the correct technique. Press your lips firmly against the mouthpiece and let them vibrate (similar to playing a trumpet or French horn). This vibrates the column of air inside the horn. Experiment with lip pressure and tension to find the right, strong tone. With a little patience, you'll become a master of the war call!

Caring for Your Natural Horn
To ensure this blowing horn serves you well for a long time, give it the proper care. Remember, this is not a drinking horn – it is not treated with a food-safe lacquer on the inside and is not intended for drinking.
- Wipe the horn dry after use (especially if moisture from your breath has gotten inside).
- Clean it only with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
- Never wash the horn in a dishwasher.
- Do not expose the horn to extreme temperatures (direct sunlight, heaters, fire). The natural material could crack or warp.
- Store it in a dry place.
