After each use, gently wipe away dust and dirt with a damp cloth and allow the shoes to dry naturally at room temperature. Follow up by rubbing leather balm or a high-quality black shoe polish into the black leather. Exercise great care when applying creams near the red slashes and trim to avoid accidentally staining the red leather with dark pigments. Balm feeds the material deeply and provides water resistance; please note that the surface will darken slightly after application.

Safety Warnings and Modern Use

Although the rubber sole provides good support, exercise caution when walking on wet polished stone, smooth tiles, or damp grass to avoid slipping. Given the lack of fastening straps, ensure your chosen size fits snugly on your foot so the shoe does not slip off during brisk walking.
