The figurine is made of high-quality polyresin and hand-painted. Thanks to the larger scale, even the smallest details of the chainmail stand out.

• Stance: The knight stands in a calm but vigilant pose. He rests both hands on the hilt of a longsword, the point of which rests on the ground, symbolizing readiness for defence.
• Gear: His head is protected by a massive Great Helm (bucket helm) with a golden cross. On his left arm, he bears a heater shield with a white cross on a red field.
• Cloak: His back is covered by a long red cloak that falls in natural folds, adding volume and dignity to the figure.

Historical Insight: The Hospitaller Knight

This knight in red attire with a white cross historically represents a member of the Order of Hospitallers (Knights of St. John) from the period after 1248. At that time, Pope Innocent IV allowed the order to exchange their black monastic mantles for red battle surcoats to be more recognizable on the battlefield in the Holy Land and to distinguish themselves from the Templars. This statue is thus a faithful depiction of an elite heavy infantryman from the late Crusades period.
