Three Stances, Six Warriors

The set contains a total of 6 figurines. It is a mix of three different stances (usually 2 pieces of each type). The figurines are made of polyresin and hand-painted.

• Guardian with Sword: A knight in a calm stance, hands clasped on the hilt of a sword resting on the ground. His red cloak flows down to the floor.
• Spearman: A proud warrior holding a long spear in his right hand and leaning on a heater shield with a white cross with his left. He wears a helmet with a distinct nasal guard.
• Commander on Patrol: A knight with his hand on the hilt of a sheathed sword at his waist, ready for action. He holds his shield with the other hand.

Historical and Collecting Use

The red surcoat with a white cross is historically associated with the Knights Hospitaller (Order of St. John) in the high and late Middle Ages (from 1248), when the Pope allowed them this colour combination for battle to distinguish themselves from others. Thanks to the size of 10.5 cm, the figurines look very dignified and can be used as luxury decoration or as "giants" and statues in tabletop games (D&D).

Caring for the Figurines

The material is high quality but requires care:

• Material: Polyresin is hard but brittle. The most fragile parts are long thin elements like spears. There is a risk of breakage if dropped on a hard floor.
• Cleaning: Remove dust with a fine dry brush. Do not use water or chemical cleaners that could damage the hand-painting.
