The blade, with a thickness of 5 mm (approx. 0.2 inches), is massive enough to withstand heavy-duty tasks. The knife comes with a high-quality leather sheath that can be easily attached to your belt, ensuring your tool is always within reach. Before your first use, we recommend wiping the blade to remove any residual protective grease from production.

While our ancestors used flint or simple carbon steel, this knife utilises state-of-the-art metallurgy. Nitro-42 steel is the result of an advanced process where part of the carbon is replaced by nitrogen. Care and Safety Instructions
Although the blade is made of high-quality Nitro-42 stainless steel, we recommend that you wash the knife with clean water and dry it thoroughly after every use in wet conditions or after contact with aggressive substances (such as meat juices or fruit acids). Occasionally treat the blade and the leather sheath with a suitable oil (e.g., mineral oil or specialised leather conditioner). The Kraton handle is virtually maintenance-free; simply wipe it with a damp cloth.
The knife is delivered razor-sharp. Remember that this is a utility tool, not a weapon for contact fencing or historical combat. Never use the knife as a pry bar, as this could lead to the tip snapping or the blade cracking. This knife is not dishwasher safe – high temperatures and harsh chemicals will damage both the edge and the handle structure.
